Strenes Festival
It is the leading festival where Catalan artists present their new recordings, launch or conclude their tours, and premiere brand-new shows.
The Festival turns the city of Girona into a large performance venue, with concerts staged in indoor spaces such as the Auditori, the Municipal Theatre, the La Mercè Cultural Centre and La Mirona in Salt, as well as in some of the city’s most iconic and visited landmarks, such as the Cathedral Steps.
THE TRAKA Gravel Girona 2026
Del 29 de abril al 3 de mayo de 2026, Girona volverá a convertirse en el epicentro del gravel con THE TRAKA, un evento con salida y llegada en la ciudad que reúne a ciclistas de todo el mundo.
Lo que empezó en Cataluña como una celebración de la comunidad, los paisajes salvajes y la inclusividad, hoy es un auténtico movimiento global sobre dos ruedas. La edición 2026 propone varios retos —desde los 100 km y 200 km, hasta los recorridos más exigentes como el 360 km y la modalidad Adventure (560 km)— atravesando algunos de los tramos más icónicos del territorio.
Girona, Temps de Flors 2026
From 9 to 17 May 2026, Girona will celebrate a new edition of Temps de Flors, the 71st Flower, Courtyards and Gardens Exhibition, transforming the city into a vast open-air floral route.
Elefant d’Or International Circus Festival
From 26 February to 2 March, Girona will host the 14th edition of the Elefant d’Or International Circus Festival.
The festival will bring together 76 artists from 16 countries and 24 never-before-seen acts in a circus ring in Western Europe. This year’s programme highlights three group performances featuring artist collectives from China (11 trampoline acrobats), Mongolia (12 teeterboard jumpers) and Chile (10 aerial acrobats on cross flying trapezes).

The artist from Figueres presents Flor de nit, his sophomore album: a journey through emotions and sensations that rise from a sound rooted in American folk, wrapped in rock, songwriter tradition, and shades of reggae.
Come listen live, in a close, intimate format.

Art Exhibition “Woven Fragments” by Mariadela Araujo
A new art exhibition at Palau Fugit in collaboration with Il·lacions Gallery, dedicated to the work of artist Mariadela Araujo. “Woven Fragments” is a multidisciplinary exhibition that explores textile design through experimentation and innovation, turning material into language and fragments into narrative.
The exhibition will be open to the public starting October 1. To visit, please inquire at the Palau Fugit reception.
POESIA FUGIT
We open a new series of poetic vermouths to share La Vida Plena and discover the different spaces of the hotel.
Three gatherings where poetry becomes a meeting point and an open dialogue — because poetry accompanies us, comforts us, and unites us.
Each session explores a different theme and takes place in a different space of the hotel, with selected poems and open conversations for everyone:

– Saturday, November 15, at 11:30 a.m., at La Placeta – Poetry and Love
– Saturday, December 13, at 11:30 a.m., at La Biblioteca – Poetry and Freedom

Palau Fugit collaborates and takes part in Oncogravel
On November 8 we will join Oncogravel, the cycling charity challenge driven by the Oncolliga Girona Foundation, Gran Fondo Community and the Palamós Town Council. A race that crosses the trails of Baix Empordà, Gironès and La Selva to raise funds in the fight against cancer. This year we will take part as collaborators. But our commitment goes further: we will also compete in the race with a team of 6 cyclists, ready to pedal with courage and solidarity along the 120 km course. In addition, we are preparing other surprises that we will be sharing with you very soon. We take on this challenge filled with pride, energy and team spirit.
Art exhibition at El Terrat at Palau Fugit
New art exhibition on the rooftop of Palau Fugit, presented by The Eleven House, showcasing the work of Girona-based artist Tània Font. This exhibition, focused on sculpture, highlights the human figure and pays special attention to feelings and mental processes.
The exhibition will be open to the public from June 20th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday to Sunday until September. Please inquire at the Palau Fugit reception for access.
